Job description

 

The Director of Food & Beverage is responsible for oversight of all food & beverage outlets within the hotel. This includes Watercolour Grillhouse, Bistro by the Bay, Banquets, In-Room Dining and Kokomo's Bar & Grill.

Role primarily works second shift

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

  • Achievement of budgeted food sales, beverage sales, labor costs and profitability
  • Assures that effective orientation and training for new staff and professional development activities for experienced staff are planned and implemented
  • Inspects to ensure that all safety, sanitation, energy management, preventive maintenance and other standards are consistently met
  • Completion of customer follow-up calls in a timely manner
  • Assures that all standard operating procedures for revenue and cost control are in place and consistently utilized
  • Maintains appearance, upkeep and cleanliness of all food and beverage equipment and facilities
  • Helps plan and approves external and internal marketing and sales promotion activities for the food and beverage department
  • Timely analysis of Food & Beverage Prices in relation to the Comp Set
  • Participation and input towards F&B Marketing and Activities

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Department Head or in a similar role
