At this time, we are seeking a part time Banquet Supervisor.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Supervising banquet team and supporting the Banquet manager as needed and oversight of banquet events.
  • Ensuring the proper set up of Banquet Room and ensuring proper service of food and/or beverages by banquet staff in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
  • Ensuring proper set up of banquet room to include linen, service ware and glassware.
  • Holding roll call meetings before events to review function particulars, including guest and hotel expectations with the banquet team.
  • Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Ensure food and/or beverage served in proper order and to the expectation of clients/guests.

  • Ensure that staff promptly busses dishes as guests complete each course and/or meal at the end of the meal or function.

  • Ensure that staff replenishes beverages as necessary, and check with guests for overall satisfaction.

  • Support the banquet team as needed to ensure success

  • Once banquet is complete ensure the team properly resets banquet room according to specifications to ensure the readiness of the room for the following function as well as sanitation of banquet areas.

  • Other duties as required/assigned.

Requirements

  • Candidates must possess a warm, friendly, caring can do attitude
  • Previous catering/event leadership experience preferred
  • Previous banquet experience in a hotel setting a plus
  • Previous banquet serving experience required
