Description

The Laylow, Autograph Collection is seeking a Houseperson.  This person will provide guests with service that anticipates their needs.  Responsible for maintaining standards of hotel cleanliness set by the Director of Housekeeping.  Help maintain smooth transfer of clean rooms and promote the cleanliness of public space.

Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; properly store flammable materials. Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments. Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in Housekeeping 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Management, guest, and coworkers.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Handling of guest requests and/or complaints
  • Ability to use cleaning machinery
  • Must be flexible with scheduling- Shifts include AM, PM, and overnight, including holidays
