    To provide efficient and professional pool and beach-side service to hotel guests



    To understand and respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner, deferring to the Pool and Beach Manager, when necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.

    • To extend a courteous, friendly, and professional greeting to guests as they arrive, and to thank them as they depart.
    • To make the Pool and Beach Manager aware of all guest comments and complaints.
    • To be familiar with the menus, service standards, and procedures.
    • To follow specified procedures to provide prompt, efficient, and gracious customer service to hotel guests by the pool and beach.
    • To follow specified procedures to properly set-up pool and beach stations and perform side work, on a daily basis.
    • To keep the pool and beach areas clear of used glasses, dishes, utensils, and towels at all times.
    • To set up beach with chairs, umbrellas and towels and to ensure that guests are provided with clean towels, as needed.
    • To follow all policies and procedures of the Westin Casuarina Resort & Spa Grand Cayman.
    • To immediately report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions.
    • To maintain the cleanliness and safety of work areas at all times.
    • To practice safe work habits at all times, to avoid injury to self and others.
    • To comply with company and departmental safety rules and regulations, including the proper handling of all relevant equipment.
    • To attend all mandatory meetings as directed.
    • To perform other tasks, including cross-training, as directed.



    High school diploma or equivalent required.

    English fluency required



    Detail oriented.

    Stands and walks moderate to long distances throughout shift.

    Constantly required to handle and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs. over moderate to long distances. Bending , pushing and lifting necessary to perform routine job tasks.

    Must be able to work well under pressure.


    IMPACT OF DECISION: Decisions directly impact customer service and the public image of the

    hotel. Poor decisions may result in customer dissatisfaction and loss of revenues, due to

    unprofessional manner, inefficient service, unsafe work habits, or improperly handled customer

    service situations.
