    Seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented candidate for our Convention Services Manager position.  The Convention Service Manager is responsible for the management and planning of meetings, conventions, catering events and related activities in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. 

    Specifically, the Convention Services Manager is responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

    • Work with the clients to detail their needs including hotel reservations, food & beverage, audio visual, event agendas, meeting room set ups, etc.
    • Create banquet event orders and group resumes.
    • Maintain detailed files, notes, and trace systems to ensure the event meets and exceeds client expectations.
    • Work very closely with all departments in the hotel communicating and coordinating group needs. 


    Bachelor's Degree or university program certificate and one to two years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Must have a strong hotel background in Catering/Convention Services, Banquet, Hotel Sales or Culinary Arts. Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Internet, Delphi and Meeting Matrix or a similar system.

    Ability to read and interpret documents and to write routine reports and correspondence. Excellent organizational, communication and mathematical skills are required.
