    JOB DESCRIPTION – AM RESTAURANT FLOOR SUPERVISOR

    REPORTS TO:    Restaurant General Manager and/or Assistant Restaurant General Manager

     

    REQUIRED TRAINING/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:        

    Previous supervisory experience preferred

    High School diploma or equivalent with excellent math and money counting skills.                                                             

    Previous work experience to include positive results in areas of associate training, scheduling, budgeting, labor controls and positive guest contact.

      

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:     

    Able to stand for ninety percent of shift

    Able to lift at least 50 pounds

    Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skill

    Energetic & Enthusiastic & Motivating

    Command of the English language, written and verbal

    Basic computer usage skills

    Basic mathematical skills for report/forecast preparation and other calculations

    Must be alert to the customers' needs

    Must be able to work weekends and holidays

    Able to work long hours and non-traditional schedules                                                                     

    Understanding of ownership/accountability & responsibility

                                               

    Requirement: 1 year supervisory experience in a fine dining establishment. Good communication skills with the ability to push/pull/lift up to50lbs.

    Requirements

    RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

     

    1. Assist in overall supervision of day Restaurant Server.
    2. Communicate with Kitchen staff in regards to specials, house counts, reservations, guest concerns.
    3. Assign restaurant stations for staff; monitor flow of guests.
    4. Assign opening and closing duties for staff.
    5. Conduct pre-meal informational meeting with staff.
    6. Assist with the training of all new restaurant associates.
    7. Assist with opening duties, checking tables for accurate settings, etc.
    8. Check for completion of side duties before staff is allowed to check out.
    9. Assure quality of guest service is maintained, assisting whenever necessary.
    10. Perform duties of host(ess)/cashier/server/busperson when necessary.
    11. Assist with daily Kronos exception report when manager is unavailable.
    12. Assist with the cleaning of dining room, i.e., chairs, linen room, waitstations.
    13. Performs other related duties as assigned by the Management
