    Barista Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

     

    1. Welcome every guest and provide them with excellent customer service; anticipate their needs.
    2. Provide quality beverage and food products consistently by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards for all customers.
    3. Be able to prioritize job functions to best satisfy the guest.
    4. Learn the names and personally recognize our regulars.
    5. Accept guest payment, process credit card charges and make change if applicable.
    6. Provide the highest quality of service to guests at all times and practice each item in the Guest Service Pledge.
    7. Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
    8. Clean and maintain equipment and work area associated with the job function.
    9. Assist the restocking and replenishment of product and supplies as stipulated in the shift duties.
    10. Complete all opening/closing paperwork and document voids on void balance sheet.
    11. Have a thorough knowledge of emergency and life safety procedures, and follow all key control procedures.
    12. Wear proper uniform and nametag at all times in accordance with the standards of personal appearance guidelines in the PHG Handbook.
    13. Perform all other duties deemed necessary by management.
