The Courtyard by Marriott® Yonkers Westchester County and Residence Inn are located conveniently off exit 9 on the Saw Mill Parkway in a combined complex within the Executive Park. As a complex sales position, you will be working with the Director of Sales and Marketing with two Marriott brands to represent within local corporate customer base for their business travel and event needs.

    This Sales Manager position is the revenue driver through the development of corporate travel relationships within the market for the property. The BTSM is responsible for proactively developing and maintaining relationships with key clients in order to produce repeat transient business, while continuing to identify, qualify, and solicit new accounts from the Local Transient Accounts in the immediate market.

    Requirements

    Some examples for duties:

     

    • Represent hotel by soliciting, responding to and negotiating with persons requiring business travel negotiated accounts as well as travel agencies to increase market share.
    • Solicit accounts that provide individual transient business that ensures maximization of revenue in order to achieve and/or exceed revenue goals.
    • Grow existing relationships with assigned Local corporate accounts
    • Research, develop and maintain marketing opportunities for corporate transient accounts
    • Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication.
    • Develop and continually maintain knowledge of market trends, competition and customers and target accounts
    • Negotiate contracts with customers and commission agreements with third party agencies.
    • Leverage relationships national sales managers and day meeting manager have for solicitation of local accounts.
