    We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales manager to join the newly opened Guest House at Graceland sales team, located at the world famous Graceland Mansion- home of Elvis Presley!
    This is an incredible opportunity to market one the most well-known and iconic brands in music and entertainment- Elvis Presley.

    This is not a typical hotel sales position- you will be selling a unique destination which includes:

    • The Guest House at Graceland, a new hotel experience in the heart of Graceland. Southern hospitality. World-class amenities. Inspired by Elvis Presley. 450 guest rooms and inspired suites, 25,000 + square feet of world class meeting space
    • The Graceland Mansion- Home of Elvis Presley
    • Elvis Presley’s Memphis - A state-of-the-art entertainment and exhibit complex over 200,000-square-feet in size, “Elvis Presley’s Memphis” which enables the guest to follow the life path that Elvis took, surrounding the visitor with the things that he loved, and experience the sights and sounds of the city that inspired him. Experience Elvis’ life and career like never before – his roots, his influences and his artistry. EPM is truly a unique meeting and event venue which includes the Elvis Career and Automobile Museums.
    • The Soundstage- A 20,000-square-foot fully customizable event space which can be host to a variety of customer specifications and needs.

    The Group Sales Manager reports to the Director of Sales and is primarily responsible for ensuring that revenue goals are achieved or exceeded by proactively prospecting, facilitating and closing group business opportunities.  The best candidates will possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and should present a professional appearance.  Candidates should have the ability to self-motivate, be a strong team player, and be willing to learn. Excellent relationship-building and negotiating skills, exceptional follow-through, strong organizational skills and strong time-management skills are required. 

    Requirements

    • The Group Sales Manager will be required to utilize PC applications, including property management systems, database and Microsoft Office products. 
    • The successful candidate must be able to effectively communicate with customers in a friendly and positive manner, in order to solicit business and meet client needs.
    • This position will require travel for client visits, solicitation and training.
    • This person must be a team player who loves to apply creativity and a good sense of humor to the sales process.
    • The ability to listen, speak and write in English to ascertain information and respond to clients is a must.
    • Independent, high energy, entrepreneurial Sales professionals will excel.
    • Knowledge of hotel structure and how all departments interact is a plus.
    • A minimum of 2 years of hotel sales experience required with national sales experience preferred.
