    Job Description:

    Candidates should be service minded, energetic and have the ability to work well in a team environment.

    Responsibilities include general cleaning of hotel sleeping rooms, cleaning of some public spaces, and special cleaning projects.


    Essential Functions:


    1. Ability to perform all housekeeping duties associated duties as outlined in hotel specific training program and property specific checklists.
    2. Familiar with frequently used Standard Operations Procedures.
    3. Basic knowledge of how to solve equipment problems and/or who to contact for solution.
    4. Clean rooms according to property specific and System Standards.
    5. Operate all equipment in correct and safe manner.
    6. Assist team with training, supplies and support in order to consistently provide a quality guest room.
    7. Practice safety standards at all times. Know all hotel emergency procedures.
    8. Comply with federal laws and break periods.
    9. Comply with Record Retention, Standard Operating Procedures and daily responsibilities.
    10. Adhere to all work rules, procedures and policies established by the company, including, but not limited to, those contained in the employee handbook.
    11. Responsible for proper administration of key control for issued keys or keys left by guests in the suite.
    12. Complete maintenance work orders and deliver to the supervisor in a timely manner.
    13. Complete job specific checklist on a daily basis.
    14. Any other duties assigned by Supervisor.


    Associate Requirements:


    1. Department schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands and associates may be asked to work shifts other than those they prefer or normally work.
    2. Associates are required to comply with department uniform and appearance standards.
    3. Associates are expected to carry out all reasonable requests by Manager/Supervisors which the associate is capable of performing.
    4. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
    5. Must be able to stand for long periods time as well as bending/stretching.
    6. Be able to carry up to 50lbs and push/pull up to 75lbs.
    7. Drug Testing and Background check will be required upon job offer.
