    Description

    We are seeking a dynamic individual who is motivational, passionate, and fun! We want you to lead our Front Office Team to ensure the effortless and seamless movement of guests in and out of the hotel, and to provide exceptional levels of service throughout our guests' stay.

    The Front Office Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the front office guest services team, PBX, and bell staff. The Front Office Manager will assure guest service standards are being applied consistently and that all hotel and department policies and procedures are followed and adhered to.



    Requirements

    Must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and relate to guests’ concerns and work well in groups.

    Strong interpersonal and employee relation skills are a must with the ability to mentor, train and develop staff. The ability to motivate and drive the staff is essential.

    Must have a strong knowledge of computers, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.

    Must be able to handle multi-tasking and be goal- and results-oriented.

    Must have strong time management skills to meet deadlines.

    Must have a minimum of 5 years previous supervisory experience in a high volume and upscale Resort with combine Hotel experience of 5 years is required.

    Complete knowledge of Opera and Fidelio Property Management Systems is also necessary.

    Must possess accounting and night audit

    Must be on call 24/7 in the event that he/she is needed and able to work days, nights, weekends and all holidays

    Must have general knowledge to assist with maintenance of business centre printing and distribution of Business Center time codes and hotel IT networks

    Other duties include the management of Guest Service Supervisors and Agents, Bellmen and Concierge. Must have a strong managerial back ground; ensuring subordinates are trained in PALMS, any other hotel training, directed and duties are being completed in a timely and efficient manner. Also, assist with duties when and where necessary.
