    We have an amazing opportunity to get on board with a world class team as the sales and marketing leader for The Sheraton and Le Meridien Charlotte Hotel Complex with 605 guest rooms and suites, 55,000 square feet of meeting space multiple F&B Outlets.

    The ideal candidate for this hands-on position will lead and manage the Sales and Marketing team ensuring a high level of professionalism, guest service and profitability. The VP of Sales and Marketing will be responsible for the following:

    • Overall attainment of hotel revenue and will oversee Group Sales, Leisure Transient Sales, Business Travel Sales, Catering Sales and Conference Services.
    • Share in the development and execution of Revenue Management strategies in combination with the Director of Revenue Management and Vice President Managing Director.
    • Insure group rates and pricing are properly managed as it relates to group sales and catering (rooms, F&B, amenities, etc). 
    • Primarily responsible for all marketing efforts of the hotel to include e-Commerce, Direct mail, Advertising, etc.
    • Leadership and management of a marketing/PR and Social Media partner to drive/create demand and awareness of the hotel complex

    The Vice President of Sales and Marketing will be the key driver in hotel relations with, CVBs and the community.

    Requirements

    A minimum of 7 years Sales and Marketing experience in a Senior Leadership role required.

    Delphi and Excel experience preferred.

    Experience in Group Sales, Leisure Sales, Catering, PR/Marketing and Social Media required.

    4 year college degree required preferably in Hospitality/Tourism. Hotel/Resort experience required.
