    The Sheraton Le Meridien in uptown Charlotte has an opening within our Front Office management team.  This position, Assistant Front Office Manager is ideal for the service minded individual who finds satisfaction in making a positive impact on guests and their teams' experience.  We take pride in providing exceptional hospitality to our guests, ensuring they have a comfortable and rewarding stay with us.  While there are specific responsibilities for this position, the main focuses are training and developing a team to consistently deliver on our promise of a warm and inviting welcome, a hospitable stay, and if we fall short on anything, we quickly resolve the issue or concern for our guests to their satisfaction. You will manage the operation of the desk along with and under the direction of the Front Office Manager.

     

     

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration or related field preferred plus one or more years front office/guest services experience including supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must speak fluent English. Other languages preferred. 
    • Flexibility to work a varied schedule to include holidays and weekends 
    • Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time to interact with others; customers, employees and third parties.
    • Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when completing paperwork and management reports, interpreting results, giving and receiving instructions and training
    • Mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances are utilized frequently.
    • Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities are essential.
