We are currently seeking a professional, enthusiastic, inspirational and experienced leader to join us as our Litchfield’s General Manager. Litchfield’s is our signature farm-table restaurant named after Paul W. Litchfield, Goodyear Tire & Rubber Executive and founder of Litchfield Park. Litchfield's supports the local community with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The Litchfield’s General Manager will report to the Director of Outlets and Director of Operations.

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide a warm, welcoming, four diamond guest service experience for restaurant guests; including resort guests, private members, and locals from the community.
  • Ensure that the food presentation and quality is held to the highest of standards
  • Interview, select, train, supervise, direct, counsel, mentor and develop restaurant leadership and staff
  • Foster a professional, welcoming, and productive work environment
  • Establish and ensure a positive, motivational, inclusive culture
  • Regularly conduct pre-shift & departmental meetings
  • Maintain profitability
  • Participate in marketing of the restaurant
  • Effectively operate the restaurant as an independent entity while also operating as an extension of the resort
  • Function as resort manager on duty as needed

Requirements

Applicants must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Budgetary analysis capabilities
  • Advanced knowledge of food service techniques and cost controls
  • Extensive wine knowledge
  • Strong ethics
  • Ability to provide amazing guest service and effectively handle guest service recovery situations

 

Applicants should also have the following:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education/experience is preferred.
  • Three or more years of restaurant general manager experience.
  • Four Diamond service experience/background
  • Hotel/Resort background
  • Arizona Food Handlers Card
  • ServSafe Certification
  • TIPS Certification
