Measure and administer cleaning agents to laundry according to product specifications. - Monitor feeder information on washers, make sure all drums are full, and report any irregularities to immediate supervisor. - Empty the laundry chute and prepare loads for washer. - Pre-sort and separate linen by classification and transfer by lifting, carrying or transporting to work stations. - Run folding equipment to fold mats, blankets, towels, bedspreads, etc. - Separate out laundry requiring mending or special stain removal. - Clean empty hampers. - Set the proper drying and cooling times for different types of linen. - Clean up machines and surrounding areas. - Stock linen room with cleaned product. Other responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Pyramid Hotel Groups from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. The remote base location for this role is flexible, ideally within the state of Michigan.    Reporting to the Regional Controller, this position prepares financial statements and accounting services for Centralized hotels. The individual will work closely with centralized hotels and the central accounting team to make sure financial statements are complete and accurate.   Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: - Provide day to day accounting related support to centralized hotels, be the “go to” person for questions from bookkeepers/GM’s. - Check daily IJ’s are posted in Profitsage and accurate. . - Review and approve weekly pre-check registers. Support hotels with any AP questions. - Verify and file final check registers - Check on any positive pay items and follow up with the accounting team to resolve - Follow up on city ledger aging and review the ledgers at least once a month to ensure they are accurate and in balance - Finish blackline reviews of balance sheet recs for all hotels and make recommendations for cleanup steps to resolve any open items  - Coordinate accounting processes with centralized accounting including proper coding and format is maintained in balance sheet reconciliation and research any ledger out of balances - Work with the hotels to clean up credit card issues  - Monthly/Quarterly approval of Blackline balance sheet accounts - Monthly P&L review calls and working with properties to address issues - Ensure all hotels tax rates are correct and that we understand all filings that are being done
