The Expert is responsible for the providing the highest possible quality linens in a timely manner for the Food and Beverage, Health Club and Housekeeping departments. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to become part of a team always pushing one another to raise the bar.   The primary responsibilities of the Laundry Attendant at the Lytle Park Hotel include but are not limited to:   - Operate washing and drying equipment, load and unload laundry from machines. Measure and administer cleaning agents to laundry according to product specifications. - Monitor feeder information on washers, make sure all drums are full, and report any irregularities to immediate supervisor. - Empty the laundry chute and prepare loads for washer. - Pre-sort and separate linen by classification and transfer by lifting, carrying or transporting to work stations. - Run folding equipment to fold mats, blankets, towels, bedspreads, etc. - Separate out laundry requiring mending or special stain removal. - Clean empty hampers. - Set the proper drying and cooling times for different types of linen. - Clean up machines and surrounding areas. - Stock linen room with cleaned product. - Complete any additional duties assigned by Director of Housekeeping or by member of the management team.

Communicate and assist in achieving departmental guest satisfaction, revenue and profit goals and objectives. Manager labor costs and expenses within budget. Assist in managing hotel revenue generation & maximization through full utilization of company systems, business processes and specifications. Ensure procedures are followed for security of monies, credit and financial transactions, and guest security. Throughout shift conduct routine inspections of the front office and public areas to ensure the appearance of such areas reflects highly on the hotel, brand, and Company. Correct any deficiencies. Train appropriate staff on procedures for PBX to serve as a central communications point during emergency/crisis situations. Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments. Key departmental contacts including Accounting, Revenue Management, Sales and Marketing, Catering, Food and Beverage, Housekeeping, and Maintenance. Will serve as manager on duty as required. Accountability: This job is responsible for managing front desk operations for a p.m. and/or weekend shift at a large, fairly complex full-service hotel with an extensive range of facilities and services and may include a large number of Priority Club Accounts and VIP and key guests. This position will account for daily activity by organizing and verifying information; identifying and correcting discrepancies; posting accounts and running and distributing daily reports. The Night Auditor will also function as the primary contact for guests upon arrival and departure between the hours of 11 PM and 7 AM, by greeting guests at the Front Desk and processing check-in and check-out transactions.   The primary responsibilities for the Night Auditor include, but are not limited to: - Greet guests immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome. - Complete the registration process by inputting and retrieving information with routine efficiency from the computer system, confirming pertinent information, including number of guest rooms and room rate. - Follow all specified procedures to audit the shift closing of all Front Office staff. - Produce accurate and timely reports, and correctly handle all cash transactions. - Maintain and post a daily balance of all house accounts, including running preliminary reconciliations, detailed transactions and final reports walked to Accounting. - Reconcile cashier’s reports with the restaurant system each night, researching and posting any unresolved tickets from the day shift. - Balance and audit for accuracy, including; room revenue, food and beverage revenue, cashier’s reports, guest and house accounts and telephone revenue; assisting in the preparation of all reports. - Complete and transmit daily Management and Accounting reports, and supporting documents. - Perform all other Front Desk duties, which may include, assisting in booking room reservations, answering hotel phone calls, wake up calls, and providing guest’s messages.
